Lenore Raymond, Besitzerin eines kleinen Restaurants in Hard Rock wird seit kurzem von einer Bande terrorisiert. Anführer ist der gefürchtete Revolverheld Roy Hondo, der den Geschäftsleuten Schutzgelder abpressen will. In ihrer Not ruft Lenore ihren früheren Freund Lord Bowler zu Hilfe. Zusammen mit Brisco County jr., dem Sheriff Elvis Bevo und einem jungen Hitzkopf namens Taifun Morgan will dieser nun Hondo den Garaus machen...

Brisco and Bowler try to stop Roy Hondo, a thug charging the citizens of Hard Rock for his "protection" services. Bowler reunites with an old flame, while Brisco discourages Whip Morgan from instigating a suicidal showdown with Hondo.
