The Masquerade" is the fifth installment of the Tales from the SMP. It was streamed on February 3, 2021 at 6pm EST, and stars Karl Jacobs, BadBoyHalo (not on the poster), Sapnap, Ranboo, Fundy, Nihachu, Quackity, and Technoblade. (Dream, despite having been originally intended to be in the episode, was sick and couldn't participate). It takes place in a large mansion where several rich people have come together for a Masquerade ball that quickly goes south when the lights turn off and guests begin to be killed. The end of the episode reveals a twist connecting current events of the SMP to the events of the masquerade, and ends with what seems to be our first glimpse of the Inbetween land.
