本作の主人公は、2歳の娘の育児と家事に奮闘する専業主婦の村上詩穂。働くママが主流となった昼間の街で中々自分と同じような主婦仲間を見つけられず、「･･･あれ、今日もまた誰ともしゃべってない！？」とちょっぴり焦りを感じる日々。そんな中、立場は全く違えど、同じように“家事”にまつわる様々な問題を抱える人たちと出会い、交流していくことになる。育児と仕事の両立に限界ギリギリの働くママ・長野礼子。完璧な育児計画を掲げるも思うようにいかず困惑する育休中のエリート官僚パパ・中谷達也など･･･。
