In yet another Universal horror classic, the mummy cult high priest role is transferred to a new fez wearing fiend who bring the living mummy Kharis (Chaney) to America. Here he revives him to exact revenge on those who foiled their plans before. Thus begins the foot-dragging action that has become the standard for the '40's mummy movies.
