Gabi tells Antonio that she still feels guilty that she had plotted to break Ricardo and Paula up when she first came to Sunset Beach. Antonio reminds her there is always the chance to redeem oneself and start over, and she is living proof of that, which makes her feel better. Later Ricardo is thrilled by his surprise party. Madame Carmen tries to appear happy for Ricardo and Gabi, but she is plagued by her premonition that there is another man in Gabi's life. Ricardo tells Amy that Bernie was broke and his house was being repossessed. Emily invites Amy to stay at her mom's for Christmas, but breaks the news to Amy that she and Sean plan to go to Aspen.
