Based on an acclaimed novel by Adam Bahdaj, the series tells a story of a group of "difficult youth". Set in 1960s Poland, the series immediately gained much popularity in Poland. Following the screening of the first episode the Polish national broadcaster received so many calls from enthusiastic viewers that it was decided to air the episode once again - immediately.
