Savage Sunday

Zwei Gangster stehlen ein Auto, um es bei einem Überfall als Fluchtwagen zu benutzen. Als Starsky und Hutch die wahren Besitzer des Wagens ausfindig machen, erfahren sie von diesen Schreckliches: In dem Auto tickt eine Bombe.

An elderly couple, desperate to draw attention to the poor living conditions in their old folks home, have rigged the trunk of their car with fifty sticks of dynamite and a timer, planning to set it off outside City Hall. But the car is stolen by two thugs on a spree of armed liquor store robberies, unaware that the car is loaded with explosives, ticking towards detonation in the trunk. Starsky and Hutch initially are on the hunt for the two robbers – when they learn that the car is rigged with dynamite, they have mere hours to track it down before disaster strikes...

Deux retraités décident de faire sauter la Mairie pour protester contre leurs conditions de vie dans leur hospice. mais l'engin est volé et les deux inspecteurs Starsky et Hutch se lancent à sa poursuite.

A két detektív az első részben egy lopott autóval, a csomagtartójában lévő dinamittal és az autó vezetőivel, a Wilson párral kerülnek kapcsolatba, akik a bíróság előtt szerették volna felrobbantani az autót, hogy felhívják a törvényszékiek figyelmét többezer szegénységben élő idős emberre. Az autót azonban két rabló elköti, hogy hétvégi mocskos ügyleteiket ennek segítségével végezzék, ám fogalmuk sincs arról, hogy több kiló dinamit van a hátuk mögött...
