Love

Hiroshi becomes concerned about Isuzu when she skips school, and goes to take her the notes she missed only to be turned away by Isuzu's mother. Later in the evening, Isuzu calls Hiroshi and arranges to meet with him. Meanwhile, the villagers argue about the village's hassaku shortage and how it is affecting the villagers, and one villager, Kasai, suggests killing an unnamed person to eliminate the "problem" altogether. Isuzu takes Hiroshi to the park and confesses her feelings for him, but Hiroshi sees that she is behaving strangely like her brother and attempts to run away. Isuzu corners him, but they are confronted by the girl with the scythe, revealed to be Nemuru. Isuzu attacks Nemuru, but is defeated after a short fight and, taking Hiroshi, runs away. She tells Hiroshi that she is in love with him and is willing to die if she can be with him, but when he hesitates to reply, she admits that she doesn't wish to be killed by Nemuru, who was watching the scene, and jumps off the roof. She is caught and carried away by the masked figures, and Hiroshi tries to follow, but is stopped by Nemuru. Hiroshi angrily confronts Nemuru for an answer as to what is going on, and she tells him to stay away from Isuzu for the time being and then knocks him out.

一誠が東京の大学に呼ばれ、挨拶もなく去ってしまった。残念がる正明とマナだが、博士は「お兄は殺されたの」という五十鈴の言葉が気がかりに。ある日、博士は五十鈴に告白されるが、突然、彼女に異変が生じ…。

Hiroshi se preocupa por Isuzu cuando falta a la escuela, y va a tomarle las notas que se perdió solo para ser rechazada por la madre de Isuzu. Más tarde en la noche, Isuzu llama a Hiroshi y hace arreglos para reunirse con él. Mientras tanto, los aldeanos discuten sobre la escasez de hassaku en la aldea y cómo está afectando a los aldeanos, y un aldeano, Kasai, sugiere matar a una persona no identificada para eliminar el "problema" por completo. Isuzu lleva a Hiroshi al parque y le confiesa sus sentimientos por él, pero Hiroshi ve que se está comportando de forma extraña como su hermano e intenta huir. Isuzu lo acorrala, pero son confrontados por la chica con la guadaña, que se revela como Nemuru. Isuzu ataca a Nemuru, pero es derrotado después de una corta pelea y, tomando a Hiroshi, huye.
