The Elder are sketchy with Lina, trying to save the world, but she gives them and everyone else and sample on what she could do. She uses the Laguna Blade spell, cutting (but not killing) Almayce.
Valgaav is upset that Almayce told him to stay back, and decides to go to the temple, wanting his revenge on Lina. He then proceeds to become an anicent Dragon, who is powerful than other dragons--wiped out thinking they might try and rule the world. Almayce some how gets away in all of this.

Armace taucht im Tempel des Feuerdrachenkönigs auf. Er will Gourys Lichtschwert, um damit den Schwarzen Stern in die Welt der Slayers zu holen. Auf dem Weg zum Tempel ist auch Valgarv. Vor vielen Jahren wurde er von Gaav getötet und als Dämon wieder zum Leben erweckt. Jetzt kennt er nur noch ein Ziel: Rache an Lina und ihren Freunden. (Text: Premiere)
El Viejo son incompletos con Lina, tratando de salvar el mundo, pero se les da y todos los demás y de la muestra de lo que podía hacer. Ella usa el hechizo Ragna Blade, el corte (pero no matar) Almayce. Valgaav está molesto porque Almayce le dijo que se quedara, y decide ir al templo, queriendo vengarse de Lina.
