Paul explores the sinking of the brig Delaware where on 4th September 1863 sailing from Nelson to Napier and running into bad weather getting smashed on rocks in a bay that now bears it's name - Delaware Bay. Paul also explores the sinking of the ocean liner RMS Niagara, a ship not only leaving New Zealand with passengers but eight tons of gold destined for the vaults of the Bank of England - only to be stopped by sinking near the Whangarei Heads on 19th June 1940 thanks to a mine.
