石志康是賭場餐廳二廚，為人熱誠忠厚。適逢其會，得見兩大賭博絕頂高手蔣真與聶萬龍對賭，因而對賭產生興趣。蔣真卒之戰勝龍，但卻被龍冤枉出千，含冤而死。一日，一青年蔣百祺光顧賭場，大挫一幫印尼老千，引起全場轟動。原來祺乃蔣真之子，想藉此吸引龍之注意，加入賭船工作，趁機殺龍為父報仇。祺更故意與龍之女希桐交往，博取龍之信任。康於一偶然機會獲升為荷官，認識了祺，與之成為好友，其後康更因得聶萬龍師弟、賭痴孫一峰教授，賭術大有精進。後康、祺兩人合資經營令一賭場。由於新賭場賭客如雲，龍之賭場生意大受影響，龍槍手在康之賭場展開大屠殺，祺因被龍得知身世及報復計劃將其殺之。龍深知要除去康才能獨霸賭壇，康亦為痛失好友而憤怒，兩人遂決定在賭桌作生死戰……
