Yuji merkt, dass er über Shana eigentlich so gut wie gar nichts weiß… Die Vergangenheit von Shana zeigt uns eine liebenswerte Person, eine Flamme und ein Skelett auf einem heiligen Trainingsort.

Back before Shana became a Flame Haze, she was living in a large castle-like structure floating in the sky along with Alastor and a maid who cares for her. One day, a Denizen attacks the maid, whose name is Wilhelmina Carmel, who also happens to be a Flame Haze.

Alors qu’il la voit manger du pain melon, dont Shana se délecte à chaque fois, Yûji s’interroge sur la raison qui l’a fait tant apprécier cet aliment. C’est l’occasion pour la jeune fille de se remémorer de son passé et notamment de Wilhelmina Carmel.

Antes de que Shana se convirtiera en una Flame Haze, vivía en una gran estructura similar a un castillo flotando en el cielo junto con Alastor y una criada que la cuida. Un día, un habitante ataca a la criada, cuyo nombre es Wilhelmina Carmel, que también es una Flame Haze.

この世からも紅世からも見えない場所・天道宮。そこにはアラストールと、ヴィルヘルミナ、鍛錬の相手。限られた人物が、理想のフレイムヘイズを生み出すため、時間をかけシャナを育てていた。
