働き方改革が推奨される令和では個人の事情や多様な働き方に寛容であることが理想とされている。その一方で、現代でも社畜という働き方が存在する。会社に浪費され、まさに家畜のように働くことを指す、古き悪しき時代の遺産のような働き方である。しかし、ここにそれを肯定的に捉えて、自ら社畜への道を突き進む一人の男がいた。これは、自分の意思を放棄して心身ともに尽くす、全身全霊をかけて会社に全てを捧げることが、喜びであり生きる意味だと明言する男を追いながら、働くことの意味を探す物語です。
