Anchors Away

Miranda ist frisch gebackene Mutter des kleinen Brady. Ihr Leben dreht sich nun fast ausschließlich um die Bedürfnisse ihres Babys. Charlotte, Carrie und Samantha passen sich den neuen Gegebenheiten ebenfalls an. Dabei vergessen sie aber nicht, nach dem potentiellen Traummann Ausschau zu halten. Charlotte und Carrie nützen eine Veranstaltung der US-Marine, um Jagd auf knackige Matrosen zu machen, während sich Samantha an dem untreuen Richard rächen möchte.

It's 'Fleet Week' in New York City and Carrie, Samantha and Charlotte are only just beginning to adjust to Miranda's new life with baby Brady. Samantha is finding it particularly hard to adjust to "cleaning up her act" in front of baby Brady, especially because she's still furious over Richard Wright's infidelity. Charlotte, now over Trey, is ready to find her next great love, whereas Carrie wonders if she's all out of great loves, now that Big and Aidan are gone. Carrie turns to Manhattan for romance and discovers that the only company that she can find is a fellow single woman...one who likes to mix her prescription drugs with her ice cream! She jumps at the opportunity when a sailor invites her to the Fleet Week party. At the end of the night though, she realises that until she can let go of her past two relationships, she cannot date anymore and goes home alone... Meanwhile, Samantha is on a mission to get back at Richard. First she throws a Martini in his face and then puts posters all around his neighbourhood calling him a "cheater" and "liar"! Charlotte also flirts with an officer who isn't quite a gentleman. Richard, unfazed by Samantha's poster campaign, persists in apologizing to her and declaring his love for her. Meanwhile, Miranda works on the art of breastfeeding!

Carrie, Samantha és Charlotte együttes erővel egyengetik a kismamává lett Miranda új életét kisbabájával, Brady-vel. Charlotte újra szingli és vár az újabb nagy szerelemre, míg Carrie csodálkozik, hogy Big és Aidan után létezhet-e még szerelem. Vagy talán az a hajó már el is ment? Carrie magányosan sétálgat Manhattanben. Megismerkedik egy idősebb, egyedülálló nővel és élettörténetével, aki gyógyszerfüggőségét temérdek fagylalttal oldja. Később egy jókedvű matrózba botlik, aki elhívja egy bulira. Carrie boldogan fogadja el a szemtelen meghívást. Közben Samantha vissza akarja szerezni Richard-ot, de kicsit radikális módsszereket választ. Nem biztos, hogy hatásos koktéllal képen önteni szívünk választottját, vagy kiplakátozni lakóhelye környékét "Csaló és hazug" feliratokkal. Richard szeme se rebben, és továbbra is szerelmét bizonygatja Samanthának. Miranda a szoptatás örömeit ízleli, míg Carrie, Samantha és Charlotte matrózokkal megy bulizni. Charlotte egy dörzsölt tiszt áldozatává válik, míg Carrie egyedül megy haza, a fiatal matróz minden igyekezete ellenére...

Mentre a New York si aprono i festeggiamenti per la Settimana della Marina, Carrie, Samantha e Charlotte cominciano a doversi adeguare alla nuova vita di Miranda con il suo bambino Brady. Samantha trova molto difficile "darsi una regolata" davanti al piccolo Brady, soprattutto da quando non sta più con Richard. Intanto Carrie si chiede quale sia la ragione che le impedisce di trovare un vero amore, considerando che è riuscita a perdere sia Big che Aidan. Anche Miranda trova difficile adattarsi alla sua maternità. Deve tralasciare lo shopping con le amiche e per lei diventa sempre più difficile avere a che fare con Steve, dato che lui vuole stare sempre insieme a Brady. Perfino la sua aiutante domestica le rende le cose più difficili. Carrie si trova ad andare in giro per Manhattan e questo la fa sentire completamente sola. La migliore compagnia che riesce a trovare è una simpatica single che, sebbene abbia una certa età, ama assumere le sue medicine mescolandole col gelato. Intanto un incontro casuale con un marinaio fa sì che Carrie riceva un invito alla festa della Settimana della Marina e lei coglie l'occasione al volo. Così Carrie, Samantha e Charlotte vanno tutte alla festa, mentre Miranda rimane a casa ad accudire il suo gatto feroce. Mentre Samantha e Charlotte ballano tutta la notte (e fuori comincia a nevicare), Carrie se ne va dalla festa con il marinaio che l'aveva invitata e che le fa della avances. Nonostante l'insistenza del marinaio, Carrie torna a casa da sola, pensando che finché non troverà il vero amore, per ora le basterà il suo amore per NY.

Una vez que las fiestas en honor a la Marina finalizan en la ciudad de Nueva York, Carrie, Samantha y Charlotte comienzan a adaptarse a la nueva vida de su amiga Miranda, que acaba de tener un bebé al que ha llamado Brandy. Carrie se empieza a preguntar si tiene algo que le impida encontrar un amor verdadero, teniendo en cuenta que ya ha perdido a dos de sus amores: Big y Aidan.

Em termos de sermos raparigas solteiras sem preocupações... teremos perdido o barco? Samantha debate se deve deixar um arrependido Richard voltar à sua vida e Carrie decide que o único amor autêntico deve ser a cidade de Nova Iorque.
