The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police

Die Serie zum Kultspiel! Die Serie erzählt die etwas komischen Abenteuer von Sam & Max, der Freelance Police. Wilde Schießereien, knuspriges Wiesel am Stiel (?!), usw. stehen auf dem Tagesprogramm. Besonders komisch sind die Stellen, wo Sam und Max sich gegenseitig eins „reinwürgen“, wenn sie beide gleichzeitig ans Telefon wollen.

Sam and Max is about a dog and a rabbity thing. That's what you would think when you first see it. Then you would notice that the dog is six feet tall and dresses like a Canine Columbo. You would also take note that the rabbit is 3 feet tall and wears nothing but a manic grin. These bizarre creatures are Sam and Max, the Freelance Police. Getting their orders in the form of brief, cryptic phone calls from the Commissioner, a man who they have never met but is the duo's only contact with any real government agency, Sam and Max battle evil villains everywhere from the moon to the past to their back yard. They are assisted by The Geek, a teenage genius who lives in Sam and Max's Sub-Basement of Solitude. Throughout all of their battles and quests, Sam and Max's own style of humor, although zany and weird, allows them to make it in what they do.

Sam, un perro policía y su compañero Max, un conejo hiperactivo, forman una agencia de detectives que solventan los casos de manera singular y cómica. Adaptación en forma de serie de los personajes creados por Steve Purcell, más conocidos por el cómic protagonizado por los mismos a finales de 80 y el posterior el videojuego desarrollado por LucasArts en los 90. Pese a contar con relativo éxito, en 1998 fue cancelada tras 24 episodios realizados.

Deux drôles d'énergumènes, Sam, un chien plutôt décontracté, et son ami Max, un lapin déjanté et beaucoup plus agité, forment une équipe de détectives indépendants aux méthodes pas toujours orthodoxes pour parvenir à leurs fins. Ils mènent diverses missions spéciales, lesquelles leur sont fournies par un mystérieux commissaire par téléphone, et qui les mènent dans des lieux inattendus et hostiles, au plus profond de la jungle ou même dans l'espace...
