Former Apprentice contestant Saira Khan takes an epic journey through the heart of Pakistan, from Karachi to her family's hometown Kashmir. She meets Pakistan's top female TV star, discovers how one man begged on the streets to fund his dream of a national health service, and encounters Sufism, a form of Islam she had never imagined. Saira seeks out a transvestite community that traces its ancestors back to the Moghal Empire, and visits the boat-homes of the Mohanas, a group of aquatic nomads.
Former Apprentice contestant Saira Khan's journey through Pakistan takes her from the city of Lahore and through the isolated mountains of the north. She encounters the painter-laureate of Lahore's red light district and a whirling Sufi drummer, and meets the country's President as well as one of his opponents, the former national cricket captain Imran Khan. She ends her journey at her family home in Kashmir, where she has an emotional reunion with relatives and prays at her father's grave.
