يُحاكَم الإمام الشافعي بتهمة خيانة البيعة، ثم ينتقل مع عائلته إلى القاهرة فتمرض زوجته أثناء الرحلة ويتخلفون عن إكمال الرحلة؛ فيشك الوالي في تآمر الإمام.
Imam Al-Shafi'i was tried for treason, then he moved with his family to Cairo. During the journey, his wife fell ill and they were unable to continue, which made the governor suspicious of the Imam's intentions.
