Yes, with great power comes the great responsibility to get busy. And in between heists where he swipes priceless artifacts like The Mona Lisa and shadowless Charizard cards*, our hero Argoman gets busier than the signal of a phone left off the hook.** There’s only one problem for our friendly neighborhood horndog: once he’s through humpin’ around, he loses his superpowers for six hours. If this sounds familiar, it’s because it was also a major plot point of a controversial six issue run of Peter Porker, The Spectacular Spider-Ham. When a supervillain who calls herself The Queen of the World hatches a scheme to use a powerful gemstone to cause devastating worldwide currency inflation, Argoman says to himself: “That can’t possibly be right. That’s the lamest supervillain plan I’ve ever heard.” But it turns out that really is the plot here, and dammit, our hero has to intervene because currency manipulation schemes aside, it turns out The Queen of the World is actually kind of a babe.
