In 2018, 31 amusement parks opened their gates to the public across China. 79 projects were under construction during the same year and 45 were planned to be constructed afterwards. Considering that during this same time period, only 2 amusement parks opened in the US, it’s clear to say that the country is experiencing a domestic theme park boom.
