La Gran Pelea

In the beginning of 2nd season finale Carlos trains for his fig fight. Yolanda and Luke talk with father Mario Reyes about their wedding. Vivian calls Alex and gives him an sudgestion to study together in the same hotel room they studied couple days ago, because the test is very near. Later she tries to attract him by getting her blouse unbuttoned, but he sleeps and misses everything. Roberto is surprised to see Bobby Davis getting Carlos prepared for the fight. Later he gets into a fight with Bibi. Alex tells Vivian that he made big mistakes with women before and that he does not wants to make a new mistake with her. Yolanda has some second tphoughts about her upcoming wedding but Victoria insures her that it will all be just fine. As the big event starts, Ray Mancini and Tom Kelly give their comments for television and radio. The big fight starts and Johnny leads in first 2 rounds. Everyone is worried because Carlos does nothing to win. As the rounds go by, Carlos tries to tire Johnn

Carlos si allena duramente in vista dell'importante incontro. Yolanda e Luke incontrano Padre Reyes per discutere del matrimonio. Vivian richiama Alex e gli suggerisce di studiare nuovamente al motel. In realtà, la giovane vuole sedurre il suo compagno di studi, ma Alex precisa di non voler fare le cose troppo in fretta per non rischiare di rovinare tutto. Roberto è sorpreso nel vedere che Bobby Davis sta allenando suo figlio per l'imminente match contro Johnny Garrett. Più tardi, incapace di accettare le sue precarie condizioni di salute, litiga di nuovo con Bibi. Finalmente arriva il tanto atteso incontro di boxe. All'inizio le cose non sembrano volgere a favore di Carlos, il quale subisce sotto i pesanti colpi di Garrett. Il giovane rimedia anche una brutta ferita all'occhio e Davis pensa di gettare la spugna. Ma Carlos non vuole sentire ragioni e, con le ultime forze rimastegli, riesce a stendere Garrett e a vincere l'incontro. Più tardi, i Santiago si ritrovano tutti per festeggiare la vittoria ed il nuovo campione del mondo. Bibi accompagna Roberto a casa e i due finiscono con il baciarsi. Sul tetto dell'albergo, Carlos alza le braccia al cielo in segno di vittoria.
