TLC returns with the results and 4 continue while 1 is left behind. Though this isn't the end for the remaining girl, it sure is for being in TLC.
TLC travel to another location in search of the perfect girl.
During their last semi-finals stop in Los Angeles, T-Boz and Chilli interrupt one girl mid-workout and another girl while she is leaving her church service to invite them to an exclusive audition. On their way to ambushing one aspiring artist, T-Boz and Chilli make a detour to chow down at Los Angeles' landmark Pink's Hot Dogs, and then head over to a fun park where they re-live their childhood. Later, at the auditions, each girl belts out their special song hoping to impress T-Boz & Chilli, who make their final picks as to who will be lucky enough to go to Atlanta. The three lucky girls are Lesli, the 31-year-old musician from Valley Village, California, Mirrah, the 30-year-old salesperson from Westchester, California, and Nazanin, the 18-year-old student/actress from Valencia, California.
When T-Boz & Chilli arrive in Atlanta, they ambush their final girl, O'so Krispie, and invite her to be part of the competition. After the nine girls move into the Atlanta mansion, T-Boz & Chilli put them to their first test by dividing them into three groups to see how well they work together, but it's obvious that some of the girls aren't strong enough. After watching each of the performances, T-Boz & Chilli decide to send Lesli, Lauren and Nazanin home. From the start, Lesli is a loner. Things get more difficult when she spends little time working on her routine with her teammates, O'so Krispie and Mirrah. Frustrations brews when Lesli is more concerned with a smoke break than rehearsing. At the elimination ceremony, T-Boz & Chilli's main criticism is that they don't look like a group. The girls think it's obvious that Lesli is more of a solo artist and as a result, they know she isn't the right fit for them and send her home. Lauren works hard on her performance and is convinced that she gave it her all. But throughout practice, her teammates Crystal and Arielle don't think she is getting the routine down. They give her direction, but feel she is the weakest performer of all of the girls. T-Boz & Chilli agree. They think Lauren has a beautiful voice, but she is not a strong dancer. Since dancing is a huge part of TLC, Lauren is eliminated. Nazanin has trouble throughout rehearsals as she can't remember the lyrics and has problems with some of the vocal parts of the song, causing major concern among her teammates, Alju and Meah. Although T-Boz & Chilli think their group has the best crowd participation, their harmonies are missing. They notice Nazanin loses her way during the routine, and she lets it show. Therefore, they have to let her go.
T-Boz & Chilli split the remaining six performers into two groups, and ask them to choreograph an original dance to be performed at a hot Atlanta night club the following evening. But when they observe the two different routines, it's clear that Arielle, the 24-year-old substitute teacher and choreographer from Miramar, Florida, and Crystal, the 24-year-old teacher from Arlington, Texas, can't cut it, and they're eliminated from the competition. Arielle's performance with her new group of Alju and Mirrah doesn't overwhelm T-Boz & Chilli. They are disappointed in Arielle's choreography skills and feel she is out of her element during the dance. They know she would be better suited to choreograph her own dances as opposed to working alongside them, so she is the first asked to leave. Though Crystal is lucky enough to survive elimination from the previous challenge, things only get worse after she's paired with two new girls, Meah and O'so Krispie. T-Boz & Chilli think Crystal gets lost in the dance during the performance, and that she doesn't give it her all. They also aren't thrilled with her suggestion of using a kick-line in the routine, so as a result, they send her home.
T-Boz and Chilli work the girls up when they surprise them with a photo shoot for the new album. They'll have to learn how to pose, and do facial expressions just like a model. One girl, on one hand reminds TLC of Left Eye. And brings the two to emotional afterfacts. While another girl spills all the beans on the houseguests. But all things go awry, when T and C eliminate a girl for her lack of personaility. The remaining girls, have the shock of a lifetime.
T-boz and Chilli have the girls perform a song they made at T-Boz's birthday party. But first, each one of them must plan a special day with T-boz and Chilli. At the end, all girls had their A-Game on, but Meah was asked to leave.
