旅館で働き始めた早梅(二階堂ふみ)に対する仲居たちの態度が冷たい｡女将の座を狙って成吾(岩田剛典)争奪戦に火花を散らす仲居たちは､悦子(三田佳子)の口利きで入った早梅が成吾のお嫁さん候補ではないかと嫉妬しているのだった｡一方､吉寅(高橋克実)から､成吾がそんな早梅のことを気にかけていると聞いた壱成(眞栄田郷敦)は､自分が連れてきた早梅を兄に取られる気がして面白くない｡旅館の仕事を辞めるよう早梅に迫るが､なぜそんなに旅館を嫌うのかと聞かれ､言葉に詰まる｡そんなある日､悦子が新しい掛け軸を旧館の物置から出しておくよう壱成に頼む｡しかし､その物置には幽霊が出るというウワサが｡旅館嫌いなうえ怖がりの壱成は､早梅にやらせようと｢呪われた物置部屋から掛け軸を持ってくる｣というゲームを思いつく｡ところが､そのゲームに乗った早梅が予期せぬ災難に見舞われ…｡
Ichinari has developed deep feelings for Hayame even though she is a lot older than him, and becomes jealous and protective when he realises that his elder brother, Seigo, is equally concerned for her. Despite his efforts though, Ichinari cannot prevent Hayame getting closer to his brother, espcially since it appears that they met briefly when they were high school students. Things come to a head when Ichinari challenges Hayame to get something from a "haunted" room in the inn, and things quickly start to go wrong...
