The tenth season premiered on July 19, 2012, featuring 16 designers. Celebrating the show's tenth season milestone, this season launched with a fashion show in front of a live audience. As with the previous season, four designers were chosen to show their collections at Fashion Week. Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Nina Garcia and Tim Gunn all returned for the tenth season. Lord & Taylor was the exclusive retail sponsor for Project Runway's 10th season and merchandised the accessory wall.
