We got a 3KW system with a 10.5KW battery enough to power our (still) tiny household. Even in a few cloudy days. So now we are living off-grid in Central Portugal. Sounds cool, we are part of the trend. But to be honest it doesn't really feel like off-grid. We still rely on water/gas from the grid and a generator for our heavy machines. but yeh. Technically #offgrid

We made a roof from recycled plastic sheets. We got them from a Precious Plastic Sheetpress workspace in France. The structure is build from Cedar wood. It's a prototype to see if it makes sense to use plastic sheets on the roof. We installed 3 wooden decks to relax, do yoga, picknick or land your mini helicopter. They are made from 3 diffferent types of wood (Eucalyptus, Red Cedar, Pine) to see how they behave overtime in this climate.

This is everything we build in the last 2 years on our land here in Portugal. We started with some off grid shipping containers and now have a waterfall and house :)

This time we have renovated an old pick up from the 90´s, a Nissan D21 TD27 with a wooden box. We have recycled and reused many materials such as a broken jeans in the dashboard and the old car oil to protect wood. Some craft and mechanic skills have been applied in this video. Enjoy!
