The Power Slap Live Finale airing live only on Rumble.
In the main event, Heavyweight champion Wolverine defends his Power Slap championship against top-contender The Bell. In the co-main event, light heavyweight champion Static AyJay Hintz puts his chin to the test against Russell Rivero. Plus, middleweight champion John Davis vs Wesley Drain and super-heavyweights, with a combined weight of 900 pounds Dayne Viernes vs Slap For Cash will meet each other to see who is the best striker.
A group of the most talented slap-fighting prospects in the world head to Las Vegas to battle it out to earn a coveted spot on the Power Slap roster; after falling ill at the weigh-in, Chris Debow's status is unknown for his upcoming fight against Irishman Sean Kilmartin. Then, Round 2 of the competition kicks off with an exciting middleweight matchup between Branden Bordeaux and Joe Landman.
In a much-anticipated Round 2 matchup, Heavyweight powerhouses Logan Greenhalgh and Delvin Hamlett face off. An injury forces one of the Super Heavyweights to pull out of the competition. In the next fight, Season 1 veteran Amir Nuriddeen is brought in to take on Canadian Middleweight Eddie Brahimir.
Chris Debow returns to the competition to face Maui native Zach Zane. A group of fighters head out on the town with Coach Manny. Then, Eviahn Scott and Brian Ellis face off in the final fight of the competition.
In a special episode of Road to the Title, Power Slap Founder Dana White announces the matchups for the Power Slap 6 live event. The fights will take place February 9th at the Durango Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, and include the fighters who earned spots through this season's Road to the Title competition.
Headlining Power Slap 8 will be a showdown between slap fighting legend and current Power Slap Super Heavyweight Champion, Da Crazy Hawaiian (14-1, 12 KOs) and No. 4 ranked Super Heavyweight, Danie “The Pitbull” Van Heerden (2-1, 2 KOs). Da Crazy Hawaiian recently competed in his first title defense since winning the belt at Power Slap 5 with a devastating knockout over No. 2 ranked Kalani Vakameilalo. Dana White welcomes coaches Austin Turpin and Robert Trujillo, plus a new group of fighters from around the world, to Las Vegas for the third season of the groundbreaking series. After the Round 1 fighters move into the Power Slap House, and the qualifier fighters begin training with current Super Heavyweight Champion Da Crazy Hawaiian, the first round of the Lightweight Tournament kicks off with two electrifying fights.
The Round 1 fights begin as Angel Merrill faces Alexandr Safarov in a middleweight showdown, and Tyler Gross takes on Rod Alavi in a battle of welterweights. Then, heavyweight Power Slap veterans James Stonier and Kody Hrastnik take to the stage in the final qualifier fight.
Round 1 of the competition continues as bodybuilder Luke Simonds faces Cesar Gonzalez in a light heavyweight showdown. Then James Siekmann takes on Wes Mena in a heavyweight battle, and British Power Slap veteran Darren Godfrey goes against former MMA fighter Dale Minner in a matchup of hard-hitting middleweights.
Round 1 of the competition continues as heavyweight Pono Pau has to fight through a hand injury to face Devin Jenkins. Dominik Melendez and Vince Tracey go head to head in a welterweight showdown. And after a shakeup in the competition, alternate Neil Thomasson is brought in to take on Rayden Bombardier, with a spot in the next round on the line.
Round 1 of the competition continues with four electrifying fights in one episode. Heavyweights Brice Jones and Devan Helm look to settle their beef on stage, before a middleweight matchup between Daniel Madalena and Hunter Hassanin. Then, it’s back-to-back light heavyweight clashes as Brandon Rhodes takes on Edward Salazar, and Cody Young faces Bryce Hurd-Smith.
Round 1 of the competition is over and only the fighters who impressed in the first round remain in the house. Before the second round begins, Dana sends the guys out on a party bus to celebrate. While they're out, the fighters who made it through the Qualifier Round and the first round of the Lightweight Tournament move in. When the party bus returns to the house, multiple fights break out. Then, the semifinal round of the Lightweight Tournament kicks into gear as Dakota McGregor takes on Reiley Montoya. Next, Joshua Boisvert faces Anthony Defrank and finally, Isaac Gunther battles William Shockey.
Round 2 of the competition kicks into gear with veteran strikers Ronald Staton and Amir Nuriddeen arriving at the Power Slap House. They will be joining the mix of fighters for the second round. Shortly after their arrival, a fight breaks out between Brendon Kerr and Ke'ali'i Kanekoa, who have already come to blows earlier in the season. The fight leads to several fighters at the house feeling like Kerr is out of control. Then, the second round begins with Power Slap Roster fighter, Ronald Staton, going up against Round 1 winner Brandon Rhodes. Next, the competition amps up when Heavyweight and Road to the Title Season 1 coach, Darius Mata-Verona, faces Kody Hrastnik and Welterweights Rod Alavi and Vince Tracy battle it out for a spot in the live finale.
The second round of the competition rolls on with two fighters facing off who absolutely hate each other, Brandon Kerr and Ke'ali'i Kanekoa. The pair have gotten into multiple fights at the house and there is a lot of bad blood between them. Their match is highly anticipated, but because Kerr gets into additional altercations with other fighters in the house, he's replaced in the competition by Kiefer Roberts. Then, Round 2 continues with Heavyweight and Power Slap roster fighter, James Stonier, facing Brice Jones and Middleweights Joshua Newson and Rayden Bombadier going head-to-head for a spot in the live finale.
The final three matchups in Round 2 of the competition kick off with heavyweights Pono Pau and James Seikmann going up against each other. This is a fight that everyone has been looking forward to, since both guys are incredibly powerful strikers. James has the highest slap score in the house at 1090 and Pono showed vicious knock out power in his Round 1 victory. Then, Round 2 continues with Light Heavyweight Luke Simonds taking on Power Slap roster fighter Alan Klingbeil and Middleweight Darren Godfrey battling Amir "The Comeback Kid" Nurideen. When the second round of the competition is over, Power Slap President, Frank Lamicella, announces which fighters have earned a spot in the live finale.
In this promo episode for Power Slap 9, we highlight the matchups for Power Slap's first international event. Power Slap 9: Da Crazy Hawaiian vs Dumpling, will take place on Thursday, October 24th at Space42 Arena in Abu Dhabi. In the main event, Super Heavyweight Champion, Da Crazy Hawaiian will take on slap fighting legend, Dumpling. The co-main event will feature long-reigning Middleweight Champion, John Davis, defending his belt against Isaih Quinones. Then, combat sports superstar, Paige VanZant will make her return to the slap stage to face newcomer Chelsea Dodson. Next, Road to the Title season 3 coach, Austin Turpin will take on Road to the Title season 1 star, Russel Rivero in a Light Heavyweight bout. In a women's Featherweight fight, Jackie Cataline will face Robyn Wereshchuk. The finalists in the Road to the Title season 3 Lightweight tournament will face off as Dakota McGregor takes on Joshua Boisvert for the right to fight coach Robert Trujillo.
