Presented by Julie Fowlis and Muireann NicAmhlaoibh, Port is a musical documentary which reveals their shared musical heritage. In this episode they visit Argyll, a region with a long musical heritage. Accompanying Julie and Muireann on this trip are two Irish musicians, both of whom come from musical families: the acclaimed Dublin uillean piper Gay McKeon and Breanndán Ó Beaglaoich, the west Kerry accordion player. On the trip to Argyll, they share music and songs with some famous musicians. Collaborating with them are Karen Matheson and Donald Shaw; renowned musician Aidan O'Rourke; Anne Lorne Gilles; the award-winning piper Angus MacColl, appearing alongside his piping son Angus, and Alasdair Whyte, Ross Wilson and Sorren MacLean from Mull.
