Haruhiko Kuzumi has been a regular visitor to Rio Kijima's house since he first visited the latter's hometown. One night at dinner, a thoughtless remark by Rio's niece forces their relationship out into the open. Later that night, Rio receives a call from Shiro Kido, prompting memories of his past.
