While Ash and Goh eat delectable treats (thanks to Greedent’s eating contest victory), Team Rocket plans to steal Pikachu by switching it with a lookalike called “Practically Pikachu.” When they appear to succeed and make their getaway via bicycle, Lucario and Cinderace chase after them! In response, Meowth shoots a bouncy glue at the two Pokémon, and they end up stuck together. Although this presents real challenges, Lucario and Cinderace figure out a way to work together and send Team Rocket flying. But when they return to Ash and Goh, the two Pokémon are shocked—the real Pikachu had been safely by Ash’s side all along!

Ash y Goh están de visita en la Ciudad Porcelana de la región Unova/Teselia. Sin embargo, el Equipo/Team Rocket había llegado al lugar mucho antes que ellos y se preparaban para atrapar a Pikachu, sustituyéndolo por un "Casi-Pikachu", el cual tenía una apariencia muy similar al original. Por su parte, Cinderace y Lucario se dan cuenta del fraude y optan por seguir a los villanos.
Während Ash und Goh, dank Schlaraffels Sieg im Esswettbewerb, von köstlichen Leckereien abgelenkt sind, plant Team Rocket, Pikachu zu stehlen, indem sie es gegen einen Doppelgänger namens „Quasi-Pikachu“ austauschen. Nachdem ihnen dies scheinbar erfolgreich gelungen ist, werden sie auf ihrer Flucht mit dem Fahrrad von Lucario und Liberlo verfolgt! Daraufhin schießt Mauzi einen Kleber auf die beiden Pokémon, die aneinander kleben bleiben. Obwohl dies eine echte Herausforderung darstellt, finden Lucario und Liberlo einen Weg, zusammenzuarbeiten und Team Rocket zu „verabschieden“. Aber als sie zu Ash und Goh zurückkehren, sind die beiden Pokémon schockiert. Das echte Pikachu ist die ganze Zeit sicher an Ashs Seite gewesen!
