To get the advantage in catching Ant, Aardvark paints himself with black and white stripes in order to resemble a zebra. But his plan backfires when an orphaned baby zebra takes to him as its mother, interfering with his efforts to make a meal out of Ant. Ant is angry that it is (and was) Aardvark who had been masquerading as a zebra. Ant tells Aardvark that he has to please the orphaned baby zebra or he's going to find its real mother. After unsuccessful attempts to please the baby zebra, Aardvark gives it an "aardvark ride" in which the baby zebra's real mother appreciates.
