Phineas and Ferb decide to find out what Perry's chatter means. However, they later find out that the Perry translator works on all animals and decide to use it to help all of the animals in Danville. Meanwhile, Candace tries to spend some time with Jeremy, but she keeps being interrupted by Suzy's poodle, and Dr. Doofenshmirtz tries to flood the Tri-State Area, and invents a vehicle that drives on water. / The boys decide to spread the word about the tip of the shoelace, called the "aglet." Meanwhile, Doofenshmirtz is featured in the newest viral video to hit the internet.

Phineas e Ferb vogliono capire cosa Perry, il loro ornitorinco, stia comunicando coi suoi versi. Creano allora il “Perry traduttore” per ascoltare i messaggi degli animali, mentre Perry parte in missione per fermare Doofenshmirtz, che intende inondare la città. Nel frattempo Candace, inseguita da un gruppo di animali, finisce travolta dall’ondata, ma Perry devia il flusso e salva la situazione. Quando torna, prova a usare il traduttore, che però non funziona con lui. / Phineas e Ferb decidono di far concentrare l’attenzione della città sui puntali delle scarpe, organizzando un concerto a cui Candace prende parte dopo qualche esitazione. Il dottor Doofenshmirtz costruisce una macchina per cancellare un suo video imbarazzante, ma per errore elimina l’intero concetto di “puntale” dalle menti e dai computer di tutto il mondo. Senza più i puntali, il concerto perde senso e lo scienziato viene deriso da tutti.
