Norman informs his father that he is dating Rita Jacks, then asks if Leslie really murdered Elizabeth Carson. Leslie swears to Norman that Catherine was Elizabeth's killer and wants to know if he can accept that truth now. Steven informs Betty that he and she are ""two-of-kind""; he grew up in the basement while she had to settle for a second-floor. He alludes very elliptically that they can have the ""whole house"".
