Then begins adding distant mist/fog and paints in the distant pine trees along the ridge of middle-ground rock formations. Now he paints in the first layer of highlights on the falls. Then creates the basic form of the rock formations using the chisel-edge synthetic brush. He finishes by rolling in the mist at the base of the waterfall.
