Now, two years after being elected, critics say Duterte is attacking the very institutions designed to keep his power in check. He's locking up those who criticise him, whilst the children of former dictator Ferdinand Marcos are emerging as powerful players. Howard Johnson reports from the capital Manila, where the outlook for democracy looks bleak.
