Ruffy und seine Crew geraten mit der Flying Lamb in starken Nebel. Sie kommen aus Versehen ganz dicht an ein Marineschiff heran. Die Soldaten können sie allerdings nicht sehen, weil der Nebel zu dicht ist. Plötzlich fällt ein Junge an Bord der Flying Lamb. Es handelt sich um Tajio, den Jungkoch des Marineschiffs. Er hat Ärger mit seinem Chef, weil er aus Versehen das Curry umgeschüttet hat. Sein Chef verlangt von ihm, ein neues Curry zu kochen, aber Tajio kriegt es nicht hin. Daraufhin gehen Sanji und Ruffy mit Tajio zusammen zurück auf das Marineschiff. Sanji erteilt dem Jungen in der Küche eine kleine Kochlektion. Als Ruffy und Sanji wieder verschwunden sind, serviert Tajio sein erstes selbstgekochtes Curry.
In a thick bank of fog, the Straw Hats run into a fleet of navy ships. Surprised by the sight of the skull and crossbones on the pirate ship's sails, the young trainee cook Tajiyo falls off of his navy vessel. Robin catches him before he hits the water and the boy regains consciousness in the Straw Hats' cabin. Scared at first, he loosens up when presented by Sanji with a soup of surprising quality. The small cook reveals his problem: he spilled the day's production of curry and has been charged with replacing it. To compound the issue, the fleet's captains plan to dine aboard his ship. Luffy and Sanji take Tajiyo back to his ship, where Sanji provides him with subtle cooking advice. Tajiyo's new curry turns out perfectly and the Straw Hats escape before the fog lifts in the mid-day sun.
Un brouillard épais entraîne une rencontre rapprochée de type culinaire quand Robin repêche un marine. L'apprenti cuisinier s'inquiète au sujet de la qualité de son curry, et Sanji se trouve être pile la bonne personne pour affiner sa recette.
La Going Merry incrocia una flotta della Marina. La nave non viene vista in quanto coperta dalla nebbia. La ciurma trova in acqua un giovane aiuto cuoco, Tajiyo. A questo ragazzo è stato affidato un importante incarico, ovvero cucinare lo spezzatino per gli ammiragli. Sanji e Rufy pertanto si recano nella nave della Marina per poterlo aiutare.
Mientras navegan por la niebla, el Going Merry se acerca a unos buques de la Marina sin que estos les descubran y acaban conociendo a un aprendiz de cocina que quiere llegar a ser un gran chef. Sanji acabará ayudándole a cumplir su sueño con algunos consejos.

짙은 안개 속에서 항해하던 루피 해적단은 해군 함대와 마주치게 된다. 해군 함대 역시 안개 속에 갇혀버린 것. 해군이 눈치채지 못하는 사이 조용히 지나가려던 찰나, 꼬마 한 명이 배 위에서 떨어지고 로빈 덕분에 가까스로 목숨을 구하게 된다. 쵸파 덕분에 의식을 되찾은 꼬마는 자신을 해군의 견습 요리사라고 소개하며 고민을 털어놓는다.
