Grace and her crew have their work cut out for them with a house that needs a new roof, front door and siding and has a massive living room, a tiny kitchen and a lifeless entryway. Grace turns a book about Mark's ancestors, who founded Abilene, Texas, into the centerpiece of the new design, and she incorporates Trista's love of gardening and cooking with a bright green backsplash, custom artwork and bright, picnic-themed wallpaper.

The exterior of the home also gets an entire revamp that turns the formerly decrepit party house into a family home rich with the couple's love for each other and for the water.

Using their love of fancy hotels as inspiration, Grace transforms the master suite into a swanky retreat complete with bold wallpaper in the bedroom, white sparkly tile in the bathroom and a newly barreled ceiling. Rounding out the project is a unique record collection storage space for him, a custom vanity for her and a living room showpiece for the family dog.
