Today, Tommy competes for the opportunity to work in a Michelin-starred restaurant with award-winning chef Angela Hartnett. Batuhan, who has muscular dystrophy, takes his driving test in an attempt to gain independence, and the villagers of Cheavely in Cambridgeshire try to save their local church from disrepair. All their efforts, hopes and desires culminate on one day when their lives could change.
