At a peaceful village, Dal-jae and his son Bong-gil runs a small restaurant that sells naengmyeon (cold noodle dish). Dal-jae has made naengmyeon for almost 70 years and he's not satisfied with Bong-gil's skill in making the dish. Meanwhile, Bong-gil is sick and tired of making naengmyeon. He wants to escape from the restaurant. One day, a mysterious woman named Young-ran appears in front of Bong-gil.
Dans un village paisible, Dal Jae et son fils Bong Gil dirigent un petit restaurant qui vend du naengmyeon (plat de nouilles froides). Dal Jae a fait du naengmyeon pendant près de 70 ans et il n'est pas satisfait de l'habileté de Bong Gil à préparer le plat. Pendant ce temps, Bong Gil en a assez de faire du naengmyeon. Il veut s'échapper du restaurant. Un jour, la mystérieuse femme Young Ran apparaît devant Bong Gil.
