Neuro, Yako, and Godai arrive to the tanker by a helicopter which is blown up in the process. Neuro enters the digital world of the tanker to pursue HAL. Godai destroys the Sphinx System so Neuro is able to go further in. There HAL is behind his final barrier, a 20 key long password which if typed incorrectly will send nuclear missiles from the tanker and destroy Japan. Yako enters the password and the final barrier is destroyed. Neuro immobilizes HAL and eats up the puzzle. In the real world, the Electronic Drug-controlled Humans break in through the window. Neuro greatly powered by the puzzle commences to defeat (not kill) every single person (20,000 people) on the boat. Meanwhile HAL explains his motive and gives Yako the vaccination for the Electronic Drug. His last request is for him to be deleted before his backup data boots up and make him continue his plan. When HAL reaches 0.00000000001% data remaining, he finds his dead lover in the world between one and zero before disappearing.
ネウロ、弥子らが搭乗するヘリは、電人ＨＡＬの居座る原子力空母から発射されたミサイルを受けて大爆発。だが、弥子と吾代を抱えたまま別のミサイルに掴まったネウロは、レーダー妨害装置を使い、無事空母の甲板に着地することに成功した。
ネウロは、すぐに吾代に、船内地下にある第３のスフィンクスであるスパコンを破壊するよう命令。自らは、スフィンクスの電脳空間に侵入した。そして、吾代がスパコン本体にダメージを与えると同時に、ネウロは、3番目のスフィンクスを倒した。
連絡を受けた弥子は、直ちにパスワード画面と向き合い、自分が解いたパスワードを入力した。ＨＡＬ本体にアクセスすることに成功したネウロは、電脳空間で電人ＨＡＬと激しいバトルを開始。ＨＡＬを作動不可能の状態にし、良質のナゾをたらふく食ったネウロは、パワー全開で、電子ドラッグ中毒の兵士たちをなぎ倒した。
そんな中、弥子は、瀕死の状態となったＨＡＬに対し、自分が調べた刹那という女性の名前を告げた。すると、ＨＡＬは、自分と春川教授との係わりを、静かに明かし始めた。
刹那は、尊敬していた本城博士の娘で、春川が愛してしまった相手。その刹那が脳の病気で死亡したことから、春川は、脳科学とコンピューターサイエンスの融合で、デジタル世界に生き返らせようと考えた。その目的で作ったのが、ＨＡＬだったのだ。しかし、思い出だけを頼りに刹那をゼロから作り出すことが無駄な挑戦だと気付いたＨＡＬは、春川を殺害。それ以降、ＨＡＬの暴走が始まったというわけだ。まもなく、ＨＡＬは、電子ドラッグのワクチン
Resulta que antes de que Neuro se estrellara, tiró a Yako a salvo por encima del puente. Neuro está rodeado de personas controladas electrónicamente. Él lucha contra ellos hasta que Higuchi haga que los altavoces emitan un sonido para encender a los humanos controlados. Higuchi explica por qué quiere que el mundo esté lleno de criminales. Yako se da cuenta de que no está completamente controlado por la droga y toma el iPod que controla los altavoces para desactivarlos. Neuro usa una herramienta 7 del demonio emperador Evil Aqua para derrotar a todos los humanos. Neuro trata de llegar a HAL esta vez solo para encontrarlo protegido por una contraseña. Neuro colapsa por agotamiento y Yako debe encontrar la contraseña. Mientras tanto, HAL se hace cargo de un portaaviones y ordena a las supercomputadoras que se activen. La última Esfinge ha evolucionado ... y Yako tiene una idea de cuál es la contraseña.
