Thirty years after the historic 1984 NBA Draft, comes a documentary from NBA TV outlining the details of that fateful night and the years that followed. Narrated by Steve Nash, the program looks at some of the players in a class that is regarded as one of the strongest in league history Hakeem Olajuwon was the No. 1 pick, the first player called by former Commissioner David Stern in his first draft. Portland passed on Jordan in favor of oft-injured Sam Bowie, and the Chicago Bulls benefited by grabbing the player who led them to six championships. Hall of Famers Charles Barkley and John Stockton also were in the class.
