The animalrights activist Steve Chandon ventures into the Canadian woods to prove the existence of the mythical creature "Bigfoot". His girlfriend Lynn doesn't support his undertaking. Unimpaired Steve beginns his journey.
Steve advances further into the woods and finds more evidence of an unknown creature. The coming night will be anything but restorative.
After the attack on his tent, Steve continues his journey and discovers a man-made trap. Steve destroys the trap and tries to find whoever was responsible for it.
Steve discovers more tracks and closes in on the unknown creature. But as Steve is close to finally obtain a prove, he notices screaming and finds evidence of a brutal fight.
Steve draws back further into the woods and gives in to the alcohol. As he turns more and more into the creature he is hunting down so eagerly , he learns that a good friend of his went missing in the very same woods.
Steve discovers a new place, of which he assumes that it is the creatures watering place. When Steve explores the spot, he finds the wounded body of a young women.
Steve approaches one of the creatures and soon finds himself injured on the forest floor. Should this be the end of his journey?
Suddenly and without a warning, Steven is hunted down by other humans. As he tries to protect the "creatures", he dehumanizes himself more, and more. But he knows one thing for sure: he will stop the other humans, no matter the cost.
