Portrait of a Painter

Awakening to find his wife murdered, an artist runs to the psychiatrist who, two years ago, begged him to commit himself, fearing he’d someday kill her. Though the painter claims his innocence, the doctor tells the police, who then learn that a drunk may be responsible.
