Pilot produced for KTMA TV23 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This half-hour dry-run pilot featured riffing on only a portion of the movie and some rudimentary host segments. It was never shown on television and no fan copy is known to exist. However, the primitive "door sequence" and what appears to be the opening host segment, is featured in the MST3K Scrapbook tape, once sold by Best Brains, and it the pilot in its entirety was shown by Joel Hodgson at a convention appearance by Cinematic Titanic. They, of course, plot its destruction. Segment One: The 'bots have destroyed Monticello. In Deep 13, the Mads are being audited, so they have hired a temp to help get things organized. Frank enjoys yelling at the temp, a guy named Mike Nelson. Segment Two: Joel and the bots go on an Outward Bound trip to the heart of the ship. Gypsy, meanwhile overhears the Mads' plans to kill Mike, but mishears and thinks they plan to kill Joel. Segment Three: Gypsy tries to find a way to get Joel off the ship and save him from the Mads. Despite her concern, Joel doesn't want to go. Segment Four: Gypsy asks Mike for help in getting Joel off the ship. He gets the keys to the SOL controls from Frank and informs Gypsy that there is an escape pod hidden on the ship. Segment Five: Gypsy uses the ship's only escape pod to send Joel home. An astronaut returns from space, dead. The base that recovered him (staffed by three men called Steve, one called Dave, and a a lady Doctor) is then cut off from the outside world by an alien. The revival of the dead astronaut, the death of a scientist, and the discovery of alien embryos inside the resurrected astronaut's body bodes ill for the survival of those trapped at the base and for the rest of humanity. The movie riffed was "Night of the Blood Beast", the same film as episode 7-1. The difference between this episode and that one is that this version aired only once and the live action comedy bits were all related to thanksgiving. It was the non-thanksgiving version that was used in reruns, this thanksgiving version was aired only once. Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie is a theatrical adaptation of the cult television hit Mystery Science Theater 3000. Set between seasons 6 and 7 of the show The evil scientist Dr. Clayton Forrester locks Mike Nelson and two robots in a spacecraft to watch terrible low-budget movies as part of his scheme to conquer the world. He projects "This Island Earth" with the intention of driving them crazy. However, the trio laughs and makes funny comments in every scene and dialogs, having good-time instead, and Dr. Forrester's ambitious plan does not work. Original movie was made in 1955.

Segment Three: An alien named Phil that Servo did business with comes looking for him. Segment Four: Mike and the 'bots catch up with what they've been doing before returning to the SOL. Segment Five: We discover that Mike's ancestors are responsible for the ape takeover. On Ape Earth, we learn that the Lawgiver is Pearl Forrester, who was cryogenically frozen for 500 years. In Ancient Rome: Bobo, who thinks he is a Roman warrior named the Mad Goth, is a celebrity / Pearl and Brain Guy try to tell Bobo who he really is / Pearl bashes Bobo over the head, which gets his memory back, but also gets the them, and Brain Guy, arrested. In Ancient Rome: Pearl, Bobo, and Brain Guy are in the dungeon. Movie Plot: a Vermont based film made in 1991 about a college professor who creates a time-traveling plane and sells it to an evil cooperation. He finds that the cooperation uses the plane as a weapon to destroy the future, and he has to go back in time several times to stop himself from selling his time machine in the first place. On the SOL: Crow goes back in time to the 1980s to talk Mike out of taking temp jobs, thus stopping him from getting the job in Deep 13 that got him trapped on the SOL / The 'bots are dismayed to find Mike replaced by Mike's alcoholic brother Eddie / Eddie tells the 'bots that Mike played in a band and died, prompting Crow to go back and undo his earlier mission. On the Widowmaker: Pearl has put Bobo and Brain Guy down for the night and invites Mike over for a chat / Pearl informs Mike that there is now an extra Crow roaming around 1985 Wisconsin. Gypsy informs Mike that the ship is having serious malfunctions. Meanwhile, in Castle Forrester, Pearl, Bobo, and Brain Guy are playing Monopoly. They couldn't care less about the SOL. Segment Two: Gypsy, and other parts of the ship, are seriously malfunctioning. Mike takes charge, but only succeeds in breaking the Hexfield Viewscreen. Segment Three: The SOL, still malfunctioning, is caught in another ship's tractor beam. In Castle Forrester, a soultaker comes for Bobo's soul. It turns out to be TV's Frank, who became a soultaker when he realized that second banana heaven wasn't all that great. Segment Four: The person from the other ship boards the SOL. She will then make millions of those little potato batteries and control the world's electricity. Unfortunately, Bobo forgets to get the potatoes. Segment Two: The crew has flashbacks to remember why Mike came up to the bridge. Mike's flashback is so blurry he can't remember anything about it. Until he remembers that he came to get his contact lenses. Segment Three: Pearl decides to make money off of the tourist trade by cooking up a monster lengend. Brain Guy sings a country song of "The Legend of Forrester Swamp." Segment Four: Servo starts a corporate whittling business. Segment Five: Crow starts some fires on the SOL. Segment Five: Since Joel escaped after a Joe Don Baker movie, Mike assumes its his turn. He's really just sitting in the water heater. The 'bots comfort him. In Castle Forrester, Pearl and Bobo are demonstrating "funny dress-up day" to improve workplace morale. Pearl is dressed up in wacky colors, Bobo dresses as Joe Don Baker from the movie. Movie Plot: An old German public TV version of the classic Shakespeare play. Intro: Servo changes his name to Servaux. Segment One: Mike plays 3 card monty with Pearl for the choice of the movie. He wins, and chooses "Hamlet" but Pearl gets the last laugh by digging up this version. Segment Two: Crow and Tom try to scare Mike by pretending to be the ghosts of some of his relatives. Segment Three: The 'bots do a conceptual musical version of Hamlet. Segment Four: Mike hosts the game show "Alas poor WHO?" Segment Five: Servo and Crow make a Hamlet action figure, complete with pull-string soliloquy. Fortenbras visits Castle Forrester to complain about not being in this version of the story. Movie Plot: A man on a spelunking trip becomes a man-bat. Intro:The crew does some painting. Mike tests to see what different colors do to the 'bots emotions. Segment One: Pearl distracts the SOL crew while Bobo sprays them with poison. The poison causes Crow to grow extra arms, for Servo's hands to become huge, and for a small Servo to grow on Mike's back. She gives in to their complaints and finally sends them the antidote. Segment Two: The crew dresses as the cast of the Mary Tyler Moore show, with Crow as Mary, Mike as Ted, and Servo as Lou. Segment Three: The 'bots think Mike is rabid and give him injections. It turns out he just fell asleep while eating pastry and has frosting on his face. The 'bots are mad that the won't need the rest of the injections. Segment Four: Mike grows a mustache and asks Pearl what she thinks of it. Segment Five: On the SOL, Servo opens a franchise of the Buddy Epsen Hat Destress Original film made in 1974.

Meanwhile, Pearl has decided to move the castle back because in the suburbs, you cant throw your garbage out the window. On the way back, they have stopped at a "Pump & Munch" to diesel up the flatbed. Bobo is delighted at the balloon dispenser in the bathroom. Brain Guy keeps the "balloons" for his lady friends. The Satellite of Love attracts a giant space squid, and Kinga and Max debut a promotional ad for their new venture, Dinosaur BBQ. Jonah and the bots riff on The Land that Time Forgot. Movie Plot: Bowen Tyler (Doug McClure) is among a small group of survivors taken in by a German submarine after the vessel has sunk their ship. When a struggle ensues between the German officers and their captives, the U-boat, which is running out of fuel, ends up coming across an uncharted island. Unfortunately for the passengers and crew, dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures roam the land, and everyone must fight to survive the perils of the lost island. Original film made in 1975.

Max finds a mysterious key that unlocks a gigantic, powerful robot he befriends and names Reptilicus Metallicus. The MST Scrapbook is a video diary of Mystery Science Theater 3000 that starts from the original pilot episode and goes through the sixth season of the show. Included are many rare pieces of footage, including the pilot and several KTMA-era bits, as well as the promotional tape sent to the, The Comedy Channel that sold the show.
This is the long-lost missing host segment for Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode K15 (KTMA), "Superdome". This was verified the real thing on October 18. 2004 by Lee Lovingood (www.mst3kcentral.net) and Michael Slusher (www.mstdvd.com)

Best Brains presented "MST Alive" at the Uptown Theater on July 10, 1992. They lampooned the movie World Without End. It was something of an experiment to see how the premise would work in front of a large audience. Also, ideas for a live tour were being thrown around.
Crow goes fishing and discusses the benefits of his "incredibly stable" kayak before being capsized by Servo on a jet ski.
Gypsy and Servo discuss actual temperature versus the wind chill factor. Servo then begins translating everything Gypsy says into "feels like..." statements, much to her annoyance.
Servo dresses up as a clown, thinking it to be a Thanksgiving tradition. Crow consults an old World Book encyclopedia to verify.
Crow plays solitaire while Servo advises. Eventually Crow becomes fed up with Servo's pestering and leaves. Servo sees a fantastic move, but can't play as his arms don't work. Desperate, he unsuccessfully tries to move the cards using telekinesis, but in the process breaks himself.
