Min-gi stops Gong-hee as she is about to head out to meet Dan-soo and proposes to her. Still haunted by the guilt surrounding Hae-joon's death, Gyeong-tae feels that Gong-hee and Dan-soo can't be together and urges Myung-ja to meet with Joo-ri to have Gong-hee marry Min-gi. Meanwhile, Dan-soo tells Chairwoman Hwang that Gong-hee is the one he wants to marry.
