Manu Feildel takes us home to the French province of Brittany and shares his story. In the village of Guidel, Manu visits his mother - a great cook and inspiration for his first book. He then relives his apprenticeship at a workers restaurant and joins his Uncle at his village charcuterie to make sausages. As he cooks, Manu shares his personal journey and visits his favourite places, such as the seafood coast of St Malo and Cancale.
Manu arrives in Provence where he plays petanque and drinks pastis with the locals. In Camargue, Manu herds cattle with the local cowboys and learns bull fighting in an arena in Arles. On the final leg of his journey on the Côte d'Azur, Manu goes cliff diving in the Mediterranean Sea and visits Marseilles.
