  • S04E01 Early Spring Saltwater Fishing

    It’s early May on Cape Cod, and the first saltwater species are migrating into local waters. In this episode we begin by catching our own green crabs for bait, and then we use those crabs to catch tautog and scup. Towards the end of the episode we catch squid, and then briefly touch upon some simple but delicious recipes.

    Cape Cod is a wonderful place to explore with a little boat! In this episode we head out on the 12 foot aluminum. We'll start by fly fishing the flats for stripers with Ian Bragdon of the Goose Hummock. Then we go fishing with Lauren for scup and black sea bass.

    It’s early August on Cape Cod, and giant bluefin tuna have arrived in great numbers. In this episode we head out fishing for tuna with a group of members from My Fishing Cape Cod and captain Cullen Lundholm of Cape Star Charters. During this trip we hooked three bluefins and observed amazing humpback whale feeds. It was an amazing trip that none of us will ever forget!
