Heidi and Mum drive around the main safari and see many different animals, including rhinos and lions. After exploring the wildlife centre, Logan makes a pine cone to take home and a bird box to hang in his garden for the birds at home. While helping his family shop for groceries, Sam decides he would like to go fruit picking with his mum for the first time. After the family arrive at the fruit farm, they pick some strawberries, while Sam meets a real life farmer who shows him around the inside of his tractor. When Sam gets home, he decides to plant a strawberry plant in his garden so that one day, when it grows, he will be able to pick his own fruit at home. After making some strawberry jam with his grandad, Sam finishes the day by having a fruit party with some of his neighbours.
After spending time playing in the garden and taking pictures, Dylan decides that he would like to learn how to use a camera properly. He and his mum head over to visit a camera museum, where Dylan is shown more about cameras and even taught how to make his own pinhole camera. Once they've learnt the basics, they head over to the local park to take pictures with an instant camera so that they can print the images out straight away. When Dylan has taken enough instant photos and put them in an album, they decide to try taking pictures on a digital camera. Whilst drawing a picture of a fish at home, Jaxon's dad has a great idea and asks Jaxon if he wants to learn how to fish for real. They head out and visit a fishing shop that sells whatever fishing supplies they will need for their exciting trip. They begin by visiting a fishing lake to try out their new fishing rod. Soon after, Jaxon and his mum travel to a fishing aquarium to learn about all the different kinds of fish. They finish the day by travelling out to sea on a boat, where Jaxon manages to catch his first ever real life fish!
After playing air hockey at home, Georgia decides with her mum that she would like to learn how to ice-skate. They both head over to the ice rink, where they have their very first lesson and learn how to stay steady on their feet. They decide to learn more about ice skating by going to watch an ice hockey match, where the players are very skilled at skating. They then head over to try a spot of rollerblading to help practise their balance, before finishing the day with a second ice-skating lesson.
After playing in the garden with her bubbles, Maisie's mum explains that it's time to get ready for her first day of nursery. Maisie's new teachers arrive at her home to explain to her what she will be doing at nursery and what to expect. After travelling to the nursery, her mum stays with her for the first visit to help her adjust to the new environment. Once the day finishes, the two of them head over to get Maisie's uniform and school shoes ready for the start of nursery. When the big day finally arrives, Maisie is ready and spends her time making friends and painting a picture for mum. Once she is back home, she finishes the day by proudly putting her picture on the fridge for everyone to see.
After playing with a toy canal boat and watching her grandad in his boat, Ivy and her mum and decide it would be great to go on a canal boat holiday. Ivy, her mum and her grandma arrive at a canal boat, where they are greeted by an attendant who shows them around the boat. They set sail down the canal before finding a castle to explore. Afterwards, they return back to the canal boat to have dinner and get ready for bed. The next day they return to the locks, where they open the large swing bridge. Ivy finishes the day by cruising along the canal and enjoying the view.
Freya's mum asks her if she would like to have a special sleepover for her birthday. There are lots of preparations to do, so Freya begins by making some invitations for her sleepover and then posting them to her guests. She also helps her mum make cupcakes for the party. Once the guests arrive, they begin to set up their tents and bed for the night. Mum takes Freya and her friends to a trampoline park as a birthday treat, where they enjoy bouncing and tumbling high. After Freya has created her own pizza with her friends, Mum makes everyone a midnight feast before the final activity, where the girls all play a board game together. The following day, everyone wakes up refreshed and they all have breakfast together before going home.
During a picnic with his family, Max and his family discover an amazing lighthouse with lots of stairs. After having lots of fun climbing all the way to the very top, his parents ask him if he would like to try the next challenge: rock climbing! The family all head over to a rock climbing wall. It's very high, but Max isn't afraid and after just a few lessons feels like he's ready to climb to the top all by himself. After a successful climb, Max then decides it's time for his last big challenge: abseiling down a huge cliff face!
Max absolutely loves dinosaurs, so the thought of going on a fossil hunt is like a dream come true. We join the start of his journey as he goes to see a Tyrannosaurus skeleton at a museum with his mum and dad. Afterwards, they head over to a beach to see if they can spot any fossils but soon discover that they're more tricky to find than they first realised. Dad gives Max a fossil brick to practise with, and they meet up with the local fossil expert, Martin, who thinks he might be able to help them with their search. After a quick lesson on how fossils are formed, Martin takes Max and his dad to a different beach to go on a fossil expedition, where they begin the hunt for some real fossils.
This episode follows Keaton as he goes on his first ever hike. To get used to walking and following maps, Keaton and his parents decide to head over to a park so that they can learn how to follow directions and find their way around using a compass. After this practice run, they head home to get ready for their big hike. They realise there are several things they will need, so Keaton helps to make some sandwiches that they can bring along for a picnic. The next day, they take a train to the lake where the mountain is. Once they arrive, they begin the exciting hike up the mountain, where they take in all the different sights and sounds along the way.
This episode follows twins Max and Zac as they go surfing for the very first time. First, it's off to the skate park to test out their new skateboards, so they can learn how to find their balance. After some time practicing, they decide that it's time to try the real thing, so they both head over to a special surf school to get some proper surfing lessons. Once they arrive, they are amazed at the performers of the show, and Isabella even gets picked to hula-hoop with a clown. Once the show is over, they both head back home to get dressed up in their new costumes and put on a show for the entire family.
This episode follows Scarlet as she travels to London for the very first time. To get to London she has to jump on board a high speed train. Whilst they wait on the platform for the train, her mum gives her some special presents to hint at what they might see when they eventually get there. Once they arrive in London, there is so much to see and do! They start by taking a trip up a huge, tall wheel where they can look out far across the whole London skyline. After this, they jump on board an open-top tour bus to see all the sights and sounds. And no trip to London would be complete without a visit to one of the beautiful Royal parks. In this episode we follow Rose as she celebrates Christmas with her family. Rose and her family visit the garden centre, where they find lots of festive decorations which they purchase alongside a Christmas tree. Once they arrive back at home, they all work together to decorate the house. After putting up the tree and leaving a sign for Santa in the window, Rose's parents take her for a magical experience: visiting Santa Claus in his grotto. Here, Rose tells Santa all about how well behaved she has been this year. Before leaving, Rose says goodbye to Santa and his reindeers, which are all outside in the snow. When Christmas Eve finally arrives, Rose attends a Christmas carol service with her family. Here they learn about the story of Jesus and sing some carols together. They head home to put on their festive pyjamas before going to bed. The next morning it's Christmas Day, and the family wake up to their presents under the tree. After the family give each other their gifts, they sit down to enjoy their delicious Christmas dinner.
In this episode, we follow Sophia as she celebrates the Jewish festival of Hanukkah with her family. Sophia begins by making candles with her mum. They burn these candles later on while celebrating Hanukkah. As part of the celebrations, the family plan on hosting a party with the rest of their family. Dad and Sofia go to a Jewish shop, where they buy lots of traditional food and ingredients for the party. When Sophia returns home she helps her mum make authentic potato latkes, before heading to the synagogue for a big party where they light a Hanukkiah. After the synagogue, it's party time! Sophia greets all of her family members as they arrive, and they all finish by exchanging gifts with one another and enjoying the rest of the celebrations.
In this episode, we join Isabel as she celebrates Chinese New Year. Isabel receives a lucky red envelope from her family in China to begin the celebrations for a brand new year. We watch Isabel get creative as she helps her mum and grandma make lanterns to decorate the house with. Once the lanterns are complete, they head to a Chinese school to learn all about the year of the pig and how to do some traditional Chinese paper folding. After some crafts, Isabel goes to a farm with mum, where she visits some real pigs and even gets to feed them. In this episode, we follow Maun as he celebrates the Hindu festival of colour, Holi. Maun begins by going to the park with his family, where they visit a peacock and see its beautiful plumage. Afterwards, they head to the temple to decorate and make their own Rangoli powder out of rice and food colouring. Maun then helps his mum cook up some delicious treats in the kitchen. Once the treats are made, he and his family finish the day off by going to a huge Holi party, where there are traditional Hindu rituals and, of course, powder throwing! This episode follows Liberty as she celebrates the Christian holiday of Easter with her family. Liberty and her family begin by visiting a farm, where they see spring lambs and learn all about Easter. During their time at the farm, they all go on an epic scavenger hunt where they collect as many eggs as possible. As Liberty has so much fun on the scavenger hunt, she suggests that they have their own easter egg hunt once they get home. Once Liberty and her family have found all of the chocolate eggs, they decide to melt them down and make tasty chocolate flake cakes. After lots of Easter fun, they go to church for a huge celebration. Liberty and her family finish the day with a lovely picnic and an egg rolling competition.
In this episode, we follow Amardas as he celebrates the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi with his family. Amardas attends a Punjabi school, where he learns all about the festival and why it’s important to Sikhs. Afterwards, Amardas heads home to help his mum cook delicious treats for the big ceremony at the gurdwara. Once he arrives at the gurdwara, he helps to lower and clean the flag, the Nishan Sahib. This episode follows Rory as he rocks out at his first ever music festival. Rory is inspired to attend a music festival after dad gives him a guitar lesson. He helps his mum and dad to pack their bags and grab their tent before heading off to a fun music festival. Once they arrive at the festival, Rory chooses where to pitch his tent and helps his mum and dad to build it. After a long day of travelling, Rory and his family go to sleep to get lots of rest for the festival. The next day he wakes up ready to explore, as there is lots to see and do. He goes down a giant slide and even holds animals at a petting zoo. Rory completes his time at the festival by listening to some amazing music.
In this episode, we follow twins Art and Enda as they celebrate the Buddhist festival of Vesak. Art and Enda begin at the park, where they learn about the lotus flower from a Buddhist monk. They also learn how to do traditional Thai fruit carving and make some authentic Thai sweets with their mum, before finishing off the preparations by decorating the house with some beautiful sun catchers.
