청나라 심양에 도착한 장현과 한순간에 길에 나앉게 된 길채. 둘은 전쟁보다 더 전쟁같은 삶에서 살아남아야 한다.
Gil-chae tries to stop Jang-hyun from leaving but does not know how, as she wants to hide her feelings for him. Also, Jang-hyun tells Gil-chae to move on from Yeon-jun, but she cannot forget him easily. Therefore, Gil-chae has to watch Jang-hyun leave the country with the Crown Prince. Meanwhile, Jang-hyun and his friends meet Yong Gol-dae in Simyang.
