昔、盗賊に奉公先の夫婦を殺された男。男は死に際「主人の娘に」と紋次郎に金を託す。途中、紋次郎が捕らわれた盗賊の頭の女は、探していた娘の腹違いの姉だった。賊のもとを娘の恋人の手引きで逃げた紋次郎だが、女は盗賊の味方を装う一方で一味を陥れようと計画、恋人さえ利用する復讐の鬼だった。
A man whose employers were killed by bandits entrusts Monjiro with gold meant for his master's orphaned daughter. On his journey, Monjiro is captured by the gang's leader—a woman revealed to be the long-lost half-sister of the orphan. Aided by the daughter's lover, Monjiro escapes, only to find the woman orchestrating a scheme to destroy the gang from within. Driven by vengeance, she uses even her lover as a pawn in her deadly game.
