Along the Mikuni Highway, a woman mourns the loss of her fiancé, slain by a wandering yakuza. Her fiancé’s mother, consumed by hatred, closes her heart to all. Meanwhile, three members of a local gambling family are killed in succession, their deaths shrouded in mystery.
