30-minute behind-the-scenes documentary "Monkey Nuts- The 13 Lost Episodes" about the redubbing of the 13 unseen episodes.
One of the (many) cool things about Monkey is the dubbing (into English). The cheesy Japanese accents were superbly done, and contribute greatly to the show's humour.
The English adaptation in the late 1970s was done by David Weir, and I've often wondered if he stuck strictly to the translation of the original Japanese, or if he just made it up as he went along! Either way, he did a great job of it.
Who can forget Monkey's voice when he yells "I love to fiiiight", Pigsy's cheeky voice when he tries to chat up pretty girls, Sandy's sad voice when he's complaining about something, or Tripitaka's voice when he's telling Monkey off for picking on Pigsy or whatever?
